Aart Glansdorp (1903-1989) was a Rotterdam painter who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam, where he later also taught, besides this training he also taught other painters. Jelle Hoogstra, Clement Bezemer, Graves Kooiman and Leo Luis Collard, among others, had lessons from Aart Glansdorp. Aart Glansdorp himself painted still lifes, landscapes and nudes, and you occasionally come across a painting by him at antique auctions.
