Bok was educated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and at the Amsterdam State Academy of Art.
Lives and works in Espel (Flevoland).
Man and nature are two different sources of inspiration for Annemiki Bok. Bok creates slightly abstracted images in a vibrant style with lots of color. After her art education, Bok worked as a teacher for several years before deciding to settle in Portugal. Even after her return to the Netherlands, her influence can still be seen in her work.
