Bert (Albert Cornelis Johannes) GROTJOHANN (Rotterdam 1939).

Born in Rotterdam 21-02-1939. Sculptor, graphic designer, glass painter, glass artist, painter, draftsman, etcher, lithographer. Education: Institute for Applied Arts Education (Amsterdam) (1956-1959). Student of Gerrit van 't Net. Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam (final exam in 1973). Worked in Rotterdam, Schoorl and Amsterdam. Awarded the Thérèse van Duyl - Schwartze Prize for pen drawing The gray ports (September 22, 1967). Member of Arti et Amicitiae (1965 - present), Association of Dutch Visual Artists 'de Brug' (1972) and Pulchri Studio, The Hague (2005 - present).
