Completed his training at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 1978. He learned the fine painting technique from Diana Vandenberg. His work can be classified as Magical or Meta-Realism. He was also a decorator at the Dutch Broadcasting Foundation, makes murals and portraits on commission and has worked as a visual artist for a long time.
