Roger CHAILLOUX (The Hague 1931 - Amsterdam 1977)

Education: Roger Chailloux was educated from 1953 to 1956 at the State Academy of Art in Amsterdam.
Roger Chailloux initially worked as a graphic artist and had many exhibitions at home and abroad. He also worked as an abstract painter and illustrator. In 1957 he started working as a set and costume designer, making productions for, among others, Toneelgroep Puck and later for Joop van den Ende.
Chailloux worked in the Netherlands in various places, The Hague, Amsterdam and Haarlem. He also spent a while in France: Paris, Clermont Ferrand and Antibes
