Steven Hendrik (Steef) WIJNHOVEN (Dordrecht, 1898 - The Hague, 1969) together with Daan Muehlhaus and Cor Noltee formed a well-known pre-war trio of "Dordtse" painters. Have worked and traveled together for a long time. Steven Hendrik Wijnhoven is also briefly described in the Pieter Scheen: born in Dordrecht 1898, lived and worked there, student of MP Reus. Painted and watercolored Landscapes, river views, still lifes and others, was also an excellent Lithographer. Was a prominent member of the society Pictura in Dordrecht.
