    Anke Sinninghe-ter Gast (Boemendaal 1909-??), painter, watercolorist and illustrator.
    She devoted herself all her life to preserving the ethnological collection of her husband, Jacques Sinninghe (1904-1988).
    She only started painting at the age of 56 and enrolled in 1965 as a student at the Academy of Visual Arts St. Joost in Breda.
