Thomas Heesakkers well known at home and abroad Born on September 12, 1946 in the Brabant countryside, Thomas Heesakkers has established himself as a very gifted flower and still life painter. Life in the Netherlands was not easy so shortly after the Second World War. Still, young Thomas was determined in his efforts to be admitted to art school. This eventually succeeded in becoming the gifted artist of today. After four years at the academy, visits to various museums and several private lessons, Thomas has given his paintings a unique color and experience. Thomas Heesakkers paints in oil and prefers large format paintings. Both his still lifes and his landscapes are in the romantic style and his works closely follow the traditional Dutch School with its great depth, intensity and rich color palette. His paintings are in great demand and find their way to many private collections all over the world. Thomas has already exhibited in Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Eindhoven, Venlo and several times in England.
