Thomas Barkie - 50,000 points of light - Sold

Over the past 29 years, the Opkikker Foundation has managed to create 50,000 bright spots for families with a sick child. Thomas Barkie has created a work of art especially for this milestone, the proceeds of the auction of which will go entirely to the Opkikker Foundation (including the auction costs).

Thomas has incorporated the Boost into the super moon, because the moon symbolizes dreams and achieving them. Everyone has their own "moon", a goal that they want to achieve in life. The Opkikker Foundation has now contributed to creating a beautiful dream for many families. The stars represent all the bright spots that the Opkikker Foundation has achieved so far.

The artwork is made of different materials and techniques. It starts with a photo taken by Thomas, which is then printed on museum quality paper using a special inkjet printer. Thomas then adds paint and diamond dust to create a 3D effect. The artwork is then mounted on a dibond plate and framed.

The artwork can be viewed in the A'DAM tower in Amsterdam from April 4 to April 30. You can register at the counter and indicate that you want to view this work of art. You will then be given access to view the work in the private members club.
