Elly Slingenberg is geboren op 12 december 1937 in Bierum, Oost-Groningen. Ze volgde drie jaar een klassieke academische opleiding in tekenen en schilderen aan de Kunstacademie in Arnhem, bezocht in 1958 de Rietveldacademie en studeerde af aan de Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten (1959-1963), beide in Amsterdam. Het vrije schilderen ontwikkelde ze daarna, toen zij als leerling van Ger Lataster werkte op Ateliers '63 in Haarlem. Elly woont en werkt in Arnhem. Ze heeft diverse exposities in binnen- en buitenland.
Het is een groot werk, helaas is het glas kapot en dient zelf te worden vervangen.
Het werk zelf heeft de volgende afmetingen breed 98 cm x hoog 68 cm, Incl. lijst breed 120 cm x hoog 90 cm.
Vanwege de grote graag alleen afhalen.
