Enric Adsera Riba Born in 1939 in Catalonia, Spain, Enric Adserà Riba grew up in a country recovering from a civil war. He was taught by Josep Busquets, a sculptor from Barcelona. After that he visited the Escuela de Bellas Artes in Barcelona. He was then a member of Centro Artístico Sant Lluc and Cúpula del Coliseum in Barcelona until 1960. In 1960, Enric Adserà Riba made his first trip to the Netherlands, where he first took lessons at the Hendrik de Keyzer School, after which he stayed for a year in Melilla. In 1962 he settled permanently in Zaandam, where he studied at the State Academy of Art in Amsterdam.
