In mei 2007 was het kunstenaarsduo Gilbert & George onderwerp van een BBC documentaire. Na afloop van het programma werd
gedurende achtenveertig uur via de websites van BBC en (dagblad) The guardian een kunstwerk als 'free download' beschikbaar gesteld.
De download besond uit negen beelden die naar wens geprint konden worden tot een 'negenluik'.
De fotos gezamenlijk vormen een glas-in-lood motief.
Op deze ongebruikelijke wijze wilden Gilbert & George kunst verspreiden via internet.
