Beautiful screen print by the famous Canadian artist Goyce Kakegamic.
Both he and his brothers Joshim and Henry were strongly influenced by other well-known Cree artists from Canada. Since the 1970s they have burst into the art world of Canada and North America. Goyce illustrated the heritage of his people and the legends of the Ojibway people. Today, their works can be found in numerous public and private collections in North America and Europe, including the permanent collections of the Museum of Civilization and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection.
