Zeer bijzondere affiche van Herman Brood
Afmeting blad 59 x 84 cm in perfecte staat
Het werk is in de druk gesigneerd
Aanleiding tot de affiche was dat Herman altijd heeft gehoopt op een overzichtstentoonstelling van zijn werk in het Stedelijk Museum. Rudi Fuchs (destijds curator van het Stedelijk) zag hier echter niets in en zo'n overzichtstentoonstelling is er dan ook nooit gekomen.
Nadat Herman op een middag Rudi Fuchs in de Beethovenstraat in Amsterdam zag lopen en weer een afwijzing kreeg op zijn vraag of er nog een tentoonstelling kwam, besloot hij 's avonds bij een vriend van hem die bij Kinko's werkte een ontwerp te maken waarin hij zijn ongenoegen uitte. Hiervan heeft Herman een poster laten drukken en deze zijn vervolgens door het hele museumkwartier geplakt.
Zoals Herman zou zeggen: 'niets zo mooi als een kale lege wand........'
