Jacqueline de Jong (1939) kwam na haar opleiding in dienst van het Stedelijk Museum. Ze ontmoette in 1959 Asger Jorn, een van de oprichters van COBRA, met wie ze een relatie kreeg en naar Parijs vertrok. Ze maakte als kunstenaar, graficus en beeldhouwer deel uit van de Parijse kunstwereld en was redacteur en uitgever van The Situationist Times. Haar werk wordt internationaal gewaardeerd en tentoongesteld. Voor de Stopera in Amsterdam maakte ze een reeks schilderingen. In 2019 hield het Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam een grote overzichtstentoonstelling van haar werk onder de titel Pinball Wizard.
