This screen print ('Japanese table') comes from the graphic series 'Daily life': one hundred prints by twenty-five Dutch artists: commissioned by Ahold NV for the company's employees on the occasion of Albert Heijn's centenary on May 27, 1987.
The screen printing has not stood the test of time perfectly, it must be said. I recently took it out of the frame (which was no longer beautiful) and noticed that the edges of the paper have discolored. Hopefully this can be remedied by reframing. There are also a few small spots on the paper. See also the photos. But otherwise it is in good condition. Of course it remains a special picture :)
Signed and dated in pencil by the artist at the bottom right and with an embossing stamp with the Albert Heijn logo at the bottom left.
