Manuel Mendive - Untitled

For sale here is an oil technique painting by Manuel Mendive, Untitled. There is a signature at the bottom right, but there is no year specified in the signature. The picture is from the beginning of the 70s; it was already hanging in our apartment at that time.
My brother and I learned from our mother, Dr. Monika Krause inherited various pictures and, after much consideration, decided to sell them. All of the pictures were my mother's property and were either personal gifts or she had purchased herself in Havana. We don't have any certificates; my mother took the pictures with her when she returned to Germany with us in 1990. In Cuba it was unusual to issue certificates until the 1980s.
My mother lived in Havana from 1962 to 1990 and became a figure on the island. From the very beginning she maintained close contact with the Cuban artistic scene.
