The urge to make something beautiful, to create something, comes from an early age. After high school, the artist trained at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Marjan Jaspers calls himself an explorer in his own environment. There is always something that encourages painting or creating something spatial. Everything can be a reason. They are 'messages' from that environment that she wants to share: humor, fantasy, compassion and wonder are expressed in her world of things, creatures and growths.
