Rian Kok - garden sculpture 'pond waterfall'

The garden sculpture is a sculpted 'rock' made of coarse chamotte clay. Water can flow down the rock into a pond or, much smaller, into a simply buried container. Human figures have been sculpted from the clay of the 'rock', which, as it were, guide the stream downwards. The organic shape of the statue blends into the natural environment of the garden and surprises with the playful figures, while the sound of trickling water can be heard.
The statue is biscuit baked in the ceramic kiln and is therefore, just like brick, resistant to any type of weather. Over time, the garden statue will weather somewhat. This can enhance the atmosphere. But if desired, it can be brushed clean, just like with green pavement tiles.
The statue is unique in shape and size. The artist has more of these garden statues in stock in various sizes, each with different human figures in different poses. In consultation, you can also choose from the other garden sculptures during a studio visit. (a pond pump is not included. This can easily be purchased at the garden center.)
