Belgische kunstenaar geboren in 1919 te Ilfracombe Groot-Brittannië en gestorven in 1997 te Aalst. Schilder, assemblagist en beeldhouwer. Opleiding aan de Academie te Antwerpen en het NHISKA. Hij debuteerde als schilder en tekenaar, beïnvloed door het expressionisme en weldra aanleunend bij het neo-surrealisme. Na twintig jaar gaf hij de schilderkunst op voor het beeldhouwen.
