André van der Vossen (Haarlem, February 26, 1893 – Overveen, May 17, 1963) was a Dutch graphic designer, painter and draftsman. Education in 1915 at the School of Architecture, Decorative Arts and Craftsmanship in Haarlem, among other things, he followed an education in woodcut technique. He also received his training as a designer here. He also designed book bindings.

From 1917 to 1933, Van der Vossen was associated with the company Joh. Enschedé and Sons in Haarlem. In 1920 André van der Vossen took part for the first time in the competition for the renewal of the Dutch stamp. In 1948 he started painting abstractly and in 1949 his annual participation in the Salon des Realités Nouvelles (until 1956) began.

In 1953 he received his appointment as teacher at the Department of Aestetic Design of the PTT.

Van der Vossen passed away in 1963, and a commemorative exhibition was held in the Haarlem museum Huis van Looy.

1928 Folder with ten woodcuts with the subject: Monnikendam-Volendam-Marken. Printed and published in Edam by the Klyne Librye. Van der Vossen also designed the drawing at the top of the rhyme print on the occasion of the wedding of Princess Juliana and Prince Bernhard van Lippe-Biesterfeld on 7 January 1937, with a text by Pieter Cornelis Boutens.
