Door te reizen, te lezen en te fotograferen worden er nieuwe visuele – maar ook innerlijke - beelden aan toegevoegd.
Het werken in series biedt haar de ruimte om die verschillende beelden en ervaringen al onderzoekend in kleur en vorm te ontdekken en te verenigen tot een nieuw beeld.
Het werk dat zo ontstaat, krijgt een eigen betekenis, waarbij soms de figuratie en soms de abstractie voorrang geniet. Maar welke richting ook wordt verkozen, steeds is haar kleurrijke werk expressief en uitbundig in stijl en vorm.
