Unique, beautiful triptych by Bodi Rongen. Every millimeter is drawn with the same love and precision in pointillist style: from the scales of the fish to the tiny birds in the landscapes of the side panels.

BODI was born in 1950, and grew up in Brabant. Immediately after high school, he started drawing in black and white in a pointillist manner. Years of study and experimentation followed, initially using colored pencils and gouache. He later turned to the brush and acrylic paint to train his technique by immersing himself in art history. While working in isolation from the mainstream, Bodi felt guided and challenged by Old Master paintings and the decorative arts of the West and East.
Like the Romantic artists, he stood alone in his desire to digest knowledge from past centuries and convert it into the present. After graduating in Semitic Languages and Cultures from Leiden University in 1990, Bodi became a discreet but highly regarded artist with a close circle of admirers.
