Filarski staat vermeld in Mak van Waay, in Scheen, in Swillens en in het Maandblad van Beeldende Kunsten in 1926.; werk in de Rijkscollectie en in het Haags Gemeentemuseum.Opleiding aan de Quellinusschool en aan de Kunstnijverheidsschool, beiden te Amsterdam.Werkte in de Bergense school samen met A Colnot en J Rädecker.Werkte in Parijs, Lugano en Osnabrück rond 1912 en in Spanje en Italië rond 1930.
Fauvist en kubist met bijzonder koloriet; Landschappen, Stadsgezichten, Bloemen, Stillevens en Figuren.
Olieverf op linnen, doekmaat 60 x 50 cm. In authentieke staat. De lijst is waarschijnlijk iets jonger dan het werk. De vlekken aan de achterkant zijn van de dik opgezette verf.
