Frans J. IJserinkhuijsen (1892-1959)
was als leraar tekenen en kunstgeschiedenis in de periode ca. 1920 – ca. 1960 aan het Hervormd Lyceum aan de Brahmsstraat in Amsterdam. Door zijn leerlingen werd hij ‘de IJsbeer’ genoemd vanwege zijn witte stofjas. Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog opende hij met zijn vrouw Jacoba en drie dochters Mies, Leny en Annie een galerie aan het Rokin met de naam Corona. Vader Frans en ook dochter Leny maakten onder meer etsen, landschappen en stillevens in olieverf en een groot aantal ex librissen.
Hij had een voorliefde voor kerk- en watertorens, hij tekende ook molens, boerderijen en landschappen evenals vogels en vissen. Hij tekende veelvuldig in Amsterdam, Utrecht en
