Jacob Kanbier - Art table 'real life'

Art table painted by Jacob Kanbier in 1995. The table was made by a sculptor (artist unknown) and painted by Jacob with his hands in one night under the influence of various stimulants. He used acrylic paint to make the colors sparkle. Recognizable are a naked woman, a sun, fish and a dog, favorite themes of the artist. I bought it directly from Jacob at the time. It served as my desk for 30 years. Kanbier painted walls for the Senate and was inspired by Willem de Kooning, among others. He counted himself among the neo-symbolists. He exhibited at the Stedelijk and his works are part of the collections of, among others, the Royal House and various museums and private collectors.
