1865-1946Cornelis Koppenol, born Zoetermeer 26 December 1865, died The Hague 1946. Student of the Academy v. BK in The Hague (more than 6 years). He lived and worked in The Hague, Delft, Rijswijk and Nunspeet. In his younger years he worked at "De Porceleyne Fles" in Delft. C. Koppenol painted, watercoloured, drew, etched and lithographed portraits, still lifes, beach views with figures, cow and sheep markets, landscapes with farm workers, peasant interiors and peasant women, he also painted old buildings. He taught at the Academy v. BK in The Hague. Works in possession of the Haags Gemeentemuseum and Kroller-Muller in Otterlo.
