    Information about the artist:
    Anna Maria (Annetje) van Verseveld , (Bussum, January 15, 1941 – Amsterdam, August 18, 2021), painter, glass painter, graphic artist and sculptor.
    -Education: Academy '63 in Haarlem, Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten (Amsterdam).
    Since 1964 she has worked as a visual artist and in 1965 she opened the Museum Farm in Den Oever together with Max Teeuwisse. This was the second cultural center in the Netherlands without financial support.
    Annetje van Verseveld worked with different materials and techniques. She made paintings, graphics, etchings, photographs, small and large bronze sculptures, work in various types of natural stone, portraits and busts. Important sources of inspiration for her work were organic shapes, the human body, dance, movement, but also animals such as horses.
    Annetje van Verseveld's work is included in the collections of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, De Nederlandsche Bank, the Academic Medical Center, the Jellinek clinic and the Antonie van Leeuwenhoek Center for Early Diagnosis in Amsterdam.
    Her sculptures can also be viewed in public outdoor spaces, such as the sculpture group “Lief Beton” in the Westerpark in Amsterdam and in the public indoor space in the OLVG West in Amsterdam.
