Large painting by Diederick van Kleef (1954), painter, draftsman and bookmaker with a Dadaist slant. Education Academy of Visual Arts in Arnhem and Jan van Eyck in Maastricht. In Amsterdam he had his studio, gallery, publisher of artists' books and bookshop Sporadisch Antiquarisch in his house at Sarphatipark. Now lives and works in France.
1986 Royal Prize for the Arts, received from Queen Beatrix.
1989 Honorable Mention for Best Dutch Book Designs.
