Strube (Amsterdam, 1892 - Lies, 1985) was Nederlands kunstschilder en
graficus, die het grootste deel van zijn leven in Noord-Brabant heeft
gewoond.
Na
de ambachtsschool, volgde Strube de Quellinusschool; welke voorloper
was van de Rietveld Academie. Hij werd bekend vanwege zijn litho's
met als onderwerp het Brabantse boerenleven. Ook de Grote Kerk van
Breda, de haven en het Begijnhof waren terugkerende onderwerpen.
Strube maakte ook stillevens, bij voorkeur in olieverf. Soms voerde
hij stillevens uit als tekening en zelfs als litho.
