Cornelis Bernardus van Bohemen (The Hague, September 27, 1928 - there, September 22, 1985) was a Dutch painter.

Kees van Bohemen studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in the 1940s. At the age of twenty-four he received a stipend with which he traveled to Paris. He stayed there for five years with breaks in between and made friends with some painters from the Cobra group. He shared a studio there with Corneille until 1957.

He joined the Dutch Informal Group in the late 1950s. Other members of this group were Armando, Jan Schoonhoven and Jan Henderikse. Afterwards he was indirectly involved in the Dutch Zero movement; he maintained personal contacts with its members. He was also a member of the Posthoorngroep, Pulchri Studio and the Hague Art Circle. In 1954 he became a member of the Sint Lucas association in Amsterdam

Van Bohemen visited several European countries and made trips to the United States and Africa (1972). He made large colorful canvases of women, athletes and exotic motifs. The expressive paint treatment was his priority; he expressly did not want to tell a story with his paintings.

His work is in the collections of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, the Kunstmuseum The Hague and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, among others.

Kees van Bohemen was the brother of the Hague painting restorer Nico van Bohemen and father of actor Casper van Bohemen
