Egbert OUDENDAG (Raalte 1914 - White Rock 1998)
Egbert Oudendag was self-taught, but in the 1930s he was taught by the painter (and master forger) Han van Meegeren. In 1949 he emigrated to Canada, where he eventually died in 1998. Oudendag painted a lot in nature. He made his own panels of masonite hardboard and also his own paint using a mix of oil, varnish and fixatives.
