Flux

Fluxus can manifest itself in different ways, but the basic idea is that life itself can be experienced as art. The Fluxus activities are characterized by a combination of actions in a ritualized context. The Fluxus artists strived for a closer integration of art and life. Fluxus' works often contain a socio-political critique, but did not want to destroy anything. The purpose of FLuxus can best be described as 'disruption', and the entertainment that comes with it. Art is sought in everyday life. Fluxus quickly developed into an ever-growing community of artists, and continues to exist today.
